Tales of the Riverbank - Dancer - 1972
From left to right behind the mixing desk:
Jerry Cahill, Anthony Minghella, Paul Athey, Mick Cuffe + Mike Jolliffe.
We wrote much of the album either in Shepherd's Bush or in the studio, only a couple of the tracks featured regularly in our live set.
The first couple of verses of the title track were based on Anthony's original melody, 'You and Me and the Whip', the first song I ever heard him sing.
The band was managed by Wilf Pine - the album was produced by Tony McPhee of the Groundhogs.
The photograph was taken at Olympic Studios in Barnes by John Tilley.
These memories keep you forever young. Sleep well my friend.
